How To Support
For all SkillsUSA members, if you are able to do any of what is listed below, that will be very helpful and appreciated. Our chapter is looking to do a vast number of new activities, events, community services, and many other ideas for the betterment of our Chapter and Community.
Volunteering In SkillsUSA
Volunteering for a community service event or fundraiser we host will not only help you get community service hours for other clubs like Nationall Honors Society but also help you understand what makes you passionate about helping others in need. Volunteering will also help make a bigger impact on th community which will look great for the Chapter Excellence Program. Volunteering will also allow us to more effectively use our time and possibly make more profit to help pays off SkillsUSA fees. Volunteering is also an excellent way to connect with other SkillsUSA members and officers. Volunteering will also give you a step towards winning a certificate for most volunteering hours in a month. Projects we are planning to host are concession stands in various events, games at the October Fall Festival, and many more.
Create Your Own Project
Hosting your own impactful campaign or project can help develop your leadership skills and show that you are willing to go deeper into your passion. If you have a big impact with the project you run, we can put it in the Chapter Excellence Program Possibly. It’s also a good way to practice skills needed in college like networking, scheduling, and creativity. Hosting your own campaign can help you with winning a SkillsUSA officer position and a certificate from the monthly award-system(Wall Of Fame). Here is how you can create your own project. Join A Committee
Joining a committee will help you understand your passion better if you are passionate about SkillsUSA. It will also help you with understanding different skills needed in college and prepare you if you want to be an officer. Having a lot of members in the committees will be helpful for connecting with students from different shops and officers. To understand what each Committee is, who runs each, and what you will be doing in general, look below.

Learning about the SkillUSA Framework and essential elements will make you more prepared if you want to become and SkillsUSA officer and in general as a member. You will also learn a lot of important information to SkillsUSA and perhaps find passion from it. The SkillUSA Framework can help you with making an impact in your committee.
